Developed and wrote West Elm’s August 2012 catalog, including “Close to Home,” the editorial front-of-book feature on American furniture-making.

The front-of-book for this fall catalog focused on West Elm sofas and chairs hand-assembled here in the U.S. To develop this story, I spoke with the leadership at West Elm’s own manufacturing workshop in Hickory, North Carolina and at an upholstery fabric printing company in storied textiles town Fall River, Massachusetts.
